Get And Play Halo Reach Beta - Get In On The Game

How to play Halo Reach Beta is the question on the forefront of numerous gamers minds today. Monday, May 3 was the beginning of wide Halo Reach Beta testing - and Halo Reach Beta is relatively easy to get and to play. The bad news is that, like all other beta tests, Halo Reach Beta is not an all-access game. So if you would like to play the Master Chief in Bungie's latest offering, how do you go about it?

old school????

How do go about finding an old teacher?

Grads.

Man, how did I get so old? Haha. I'm out perusing the internet, found this site, figured I'd join, gotta represent JDHS! Class of '08. FTW.

Back "home"

Just had a great 2 weeks in Juneau with our daughter and 2 grands taking a "memory lane" trip; it's still as beautiful as ever.

What's in store for the future?

This site has been around in one form or another for over a decade now. From its beginnings as Michael Anderson's project, to our joint efforts, and finally to my continuing its operation and development after Michael's untimely passing, things have changed a lot to say the least!

With sites like MySpace and Facebook popping up, the "social networking" need of a site like JDHSGrads.com is a bit diminished. The ironic thing is that JDHSGrads.com was a "social networking" site ahead of its time - the big makeover of JDHSGrads.com that allowed for users to search for each other, send private messages, and upload photos happened in 2000 - 2001. MySpace didn't exist till 2003 and Facebook came up a year later. If only there had been a patent...

Anyhow, what I'm getting at here is that I'm really interested in what you, the users of JDHSGrads.com, would like to see on this site to make it more useful.

A lot of functionalities here are also on other networking sites, like event organization, special pages, and so on. However, I like to think that this fills a special local niche that allows for a LOT more flexibility and user-friendliness.

So - shoot me an e-mail or add a comment to this entry and PLEASE let me know what you'd like to see JDHSGrads.com become in the future. THANKS!

Next Operation

Hello. Was back in the hospital for another operation. This time, shunt from previous developed an infection (a "morganilla" infuction); my daughter Morgan got a hick out of this one. Anyway, all better now and out of the hospital. Just trying to get my life back to "normal". Onward and Upward. -Donn
