Hi from Anchorage, I was just bored at work...seeing if I knew anyone here, I attended JDHS 1992-94. If you know me, shoot me an e-mail!

Hi, I graduated in 1993 but not at JDHS as I have hoped. I was contacted for the 10 yr reunion and I am so sorry that all the pics I submitted were shown at the reunion slide show. One pic was to be chosen. I was truley embaressed and I hope I didn't ruin it for anyone there. Feel free to email me, I love to chat with old friends.

Attended grade through jr. high1949-1957 in Juneau. (Class of 60) Moved away during high-school days to Ore. and Calif. Returned after Army.

Great site, just saying hello from the class of '88

Hello, JDHS grads. Does anyone know if there will be a Juneau-Douglas picnic in Seattle this year? And if so, where and when? Thanks.

Hi! I know that I didn't graduate from JDHS, but I did go to school there until the middle of my freshman year. I grew up in Juneau and miss it so much. I plan on visiting again soon (mid-August). I would have gradutaed 2003. So, if anyone wants to email me to "catch up", go ahead. I am in Oregon right now getting my AA and then transferring to Washington State to finish my MSW (master in social work).

Just saying Hi to everyone and hope everything's going well!! send me an email if you would I'd love to hear what old friends are doing! Thanks

Hey Juneau and to any old friends who come across this site that I haven't seen in a long time. Drop me an e-mail sometime. I am currently living in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan- no, not anything close to what you may have seen in "8 Mile", lol. Finally attending college at Henry Ford, majoring in Business. Hope everyone is doing well and get out of Juneau sometime, theres a whole world out there waiting for you!

:D Just read your letter in the Juneau Empire online, great job pointing out the obvious. Keep up the good work.

Hey! I'm bored, so typed in jdhs and found this site. I went from 1995-1997, supposed to graduate 1998, but attended a boarding school here in Oregon 97-98, where I met the love of my life. We're now getting married and want to start a family soon, life is good. Anyone who went to jdhs the years I did, feel free to email me, I'd love to hear from you! Liz

Very nice site, great information, easy to negotiate. I'd say our family has firm alumni status, graduates from 1953 (Juneau HS) to 1992, and my youngest yet to attend. A '76er, myself.

Hi I just found this site and thought I might add a lil something myself... you know, maybe find some people I haven't seen or heard from in years. Well a little something on me. My name is Christine I attended FDMS from 1988-1991 then JDHS only from 1991 to 1993, when I moved out of Juneau. I still have a lot of friends and family there in Juneau, but I can never make it back for visits that often. The last time I was there was in November 1998. I have been in Anchorage, AK since 1993 a little over 10 years now. I have a son who is now 10 and he loves to play football for Pop Werner. If you remember me hit me up on the e-mail address I left here. There are lots of people that live here in Anchorage I know from Juneau. Okay, well I got to go handle some business and get my work done, so I will holla at'cha ya'll later. Chrys Okegawa

Thinking of going to a reunion but you weren't a graduate with that class? Go for it. Go to any reunion you want to. Forget about the cliques--why would you want to hang with them anyhoo? You're a big kid now.

Hey I never went to the igh school but I would have wanted to. I went to Elementary and Jr High there. I lost contact with all of my friends. This is my graduating year. 05' Baby! So drop me a line. Always, Kassie

'72 grad.....looking for Diane Fulkerson Sievenpiper....and anyone else who got into trouble with me at JDHS....What great memories this site brings....thanks for having it here!

Hello, I am a 1985 graduate who just recently found the site. It has been a long time since I have been in touch with JDHS. I have just started as a Chaplain in the U.S. Army, with my first active duty assignment being at Ft. Drum in upstate NY. Ironically, my neighbor in Army housing is Chaplain Al Wall, a 1988 graduate of JDHS. God has some sense of humor! Take care,Jerry JohnsonChaplain (CPT), U.S. ArmyFt. Drum, NY

Great site. I would have graduated in 1990 but moved in 10th grade. The old pictures cracked me up.

Hey there, I grew up in Juneau till I was 13 so never actually got to JDHS, went to Dryden though...I'm looking for an old friend, Roxanna Beaver. Haven't talked to her in 9 years although we made the effort to keep in touch from age 13- 24. She might have moved to Anchorage and I'd really love to talk to her again. Email if anyone knows where she's at or how I could contact her. Thanks,

Katie Krueger

I just stumbled across this site. Guess I should get out more (or read the paper). I will be sure to pass the website address on to those grads that I see around town occasionally. Good wishes to all and thanks for all the time and effort I know it takes to start and keep up a site like this!

Hi all,

Well I've just returned home for the 20 year high school reunion festivities in Juneau this past weekend.

I'm in awe of how great everyone looks and how AWESOME our reunion was! I'd heard from friends here that your 20 year reunion is the best, but I never guessed it would be so moving!!

It was heartwarming to see and hug everyone and reconnect. You all look terrific!!

Juneau is such a HUGE part of my life. Like I've said time and time again, I'm so proud to have come from Juneau. It's truly a special place.

Have a fabulous Summer and we'll catcha on the flip-side!

I was an exchange student from Australia in '87 & '88. Only have contact with a couple of friends from my time in Juneau, and would like to catch up with a few more.

I would have graduated JDHS in 2002 but I moved to New Hampshire. It sucked. I wish I had graduated school with the people I grew up with but it was good to get away and meet new people. Plus I bet NONE of you guys that i went to school with since kindergarten through 8th grade would recognize me. I am not a dork anymore. I bet some of you would wish now that you were never mean. j/k. Its all in the past

Joanne! I would love to connect with you again. My email is

Hey!

I don't know if anybody is really going to remember me, but I attended Glacier Valley Elementary School about nine years ago. My name is Kristin Gilbank. I moved to Janesville, WI in 1998 before I entered middle school. I graduated high school last year in 2005. I'm looking for a few old friends right now-I just want to see how you all are doing-Krista Youll, Sammy Leg, Sarah Jordan, and Kaitlyn Clark among many others. If any of you get this, or if anybody knows any of these people, please email me at [email address removed]. Thanks!!! I would love to hear from you all!!

Much love,

Kristin

Hey....

Just wondering if anyone out there knows where I can find a yearbook for 1986. I also have a friend who's looking for '88 & '89.

Thanks in advance!!

There were no personal computers in 1970. So there may not be very many grads from that time on line to read this. But if there is anyone from about that time frame-Hi!

Hi My name is Becka. I work for the Shawnee News-Star in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I have some pictures here and a diploma for Sean Conrad 1992 graduate. If anyone knows who he is or can give me any information, I would really appreciate it. Anyone can email me at [email address removed] or

call me at 405-214-3938 Monday -Friday 8am - 5pm. Thank you for any help.

This is a great website. I went to school with a lot of you. My dad was military and so we moved during the summer of 1984, but you always wonder what happened to people you knew once upon a time. The '85 reunion pictures were great. Rob Mackey you still look the same - we had algebra together (thanks for all the help.) Jeff Brink you a police officer?? I teach CJR classes, too weird. Any emails would be great.

I am just a friend of the class of 1993. I moved my junior year to Utah and then my senior year to Wyoming. I spent most of my time in Juneau, and I wished I got to stay to graduate from there. I am jealous, you really have a nice website. I also appreciate the fact that you allow outsiders like me to check up on old friends and classmates. It's amazing how some people don't change and how some do a lot. Thanks for the picture updates! Juneau is a really special place and so is JDHS! Maybe I will get to move back someday so that my kids can attend JDHS.
